180DC at Cornell operates around a set of core principles.
Our Mission
180DC at Cornell is an extension to 180 Degrees Consulting, an international organization headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and has branches around the world. As 180DC at Cornell, we provide high-quality, high-impact consulting services to non-profit organizations and socially conscious businesses in the Ithaca community and beyond. Our team of social impact leaders with a passion for helping others and solving modern business challenges strives to produce innovative and lasting results for our clients.
Core Values
Diversity – Our community members come from highly diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Passion – Our student analysts demonstrate an alignment of values and a fierce passion for creating change for the better.
Integrity – Our organization is bound by members who uphold their commitment to social good and work towards our client’s mission.
Collaboration – Our team works because it’s founded upon mutual drive and trust.
Our Timeline
Our period of engagement usually lasts around four to five months, which is the length of a semester at Cornell. Throughout the semester, we work along with our clients through check-in meetings to ensure that both sides are on the same page. We work throughout the semester in teams of four to six students performing market research and other tasks and then provide succinct recommendations to resolve the problems that our clients face.
